The World’s #1 Podcast
For Jiu-Jitsu Parents
& Their Jiu-Jitsu Groms

We’re stoked you’re here! Welcome to the JitsGrom.Com family!

Andy

Bio: An amazing husband and father of 5. He may not be a black belt in jiu-jitsu (he’s a blue belt), but he & Amii (his beautiful wife) certainly are as pretty close to being black belt-level parents. Andy & his wife are world-class photographers, homeschool their crew of groms, surf every chance they get, love to hit up road trips, and are on the mats most days of the week. Did we mention he has multiple masters degrees? Yeah, he’s an interesting dude … and the perfect host for this rad podcast!

Favorite Jiu-Jitsu Technique: Trying to survive, while not getting smashed in half guard!

Favorite Jiu-Jitsu Athlete: Ben Eddy, Cole Abate, and Ender

Ender

Bio: The oldest son to Andy & Amii, Ender is a legitimately rad dude! He’s been training jiu-jitsu for about 5 years … and he’s a yellow belt (white stripe). He’s competed in many jiu-jitsu tournaments around California and Nevada. He trains every chance he can, and even hits up the 5am adult jiu-jitsu class with Andy. And yes, he can totally hang with the adults … When he’s not training? He’s definitely sketching, practicing his ollie, or researching his other favorite activity: Pokemon! Ender also enjoys surfing … and he’s the most ah-mazing brother.

Favorite Jiu-Jitsu Technique: The Hindulotine

Favorite Jiu-Jitsu Athlete: Ben Eddy, Cole Abate, John Marine (his coach), and, of course, hi father, Andy

The Crew

Look out for the rest of the JitsGrom.Com crew to join an episode here and there. They’re a super lively and fun bunch, and they have loads of tips, tricks, and stories to share. As a family 7, the JitsGrom.Com crew is always up to something (a rad adventure or two for sure). They love to share stories about training with their siblings, their favorite techniques, what it’s like traveling to and competing in tournaments, and so much more! And, no doubt, there’ll be some interesting homeschooling and surfing stories to share as well!
